Interested in any of the following, contact Jonathan unless otherwise noted, and add actual USPS shipping costs from 01002 to stated prices (unless picking up gear at races once the season starts up again).
$195 BD Recon LT
- Purchased directly from BD on August 16, 2022, so warranty is valid until August 16, 2027.
- Worn at December 12, 2022 A-Basin skimo race, conducted three searches for a range test on January 3, 2025, and probably used in between for a few real tours in 2023 and 2024.
- Firmware was updated on-line as per the recall in spring 2023.
- Does *NOT* include the harness (which I'm keeping for my Barryvox S2), but does include a lanyard from Pieps or Ortovox (your choice).
- Includes original packaging and user manual, but no batteries.
- Add shipping from 01002, or can meet in 01002, west side of Mt Washington, or somewhere in between.
- Selling because I no longer plan to skimo race out west where beacons are required, for which the Recon LT excels as the smallest model for fitting inside a lycra race zippered pocket (and should I ever change my mind, the new S2 is close enough in size), and I have both the S2 and IPS for my personal use, with a Diract Voice as a loaner and avy course teaching demo.
$195 ARVA Neo BT Pro
- Purchased directly from ARVA on November 27, 2023.
- Conducted three searches for a range test on January 3, 2025, but otherwise I never got around to conducting the tests I had planned to conduct, and I'm pretty sure I never wore it for any real tours.
- Includes the nifty harness with the mini-biner lanyard.
- Includes original packaging (which is nothing special), but I can't find the user manual at the moment, although you can download the pdf from HERE.
- Add shipping from 01002, or can meet in 01002, west side of Mt Washington, or somewhere in between.
- Selling because I now have the S2 and IPS as the latest shiny new things, plus a Diract Voice as a loaner and avy course teaching demo, so no need for the this any longer.
$45 Swix carbon fiber race poles, new
- 130cm length, so suitable for 5'5" to 5'10" depending upon personal preferences.
- Swix Triac Jr model, but nothing really junior about it, although nowhere near as exotic as the current $560 Triac model, just a typical high-end carbon fiber nordic race pole.
- Baskets are sufficiently sized for softer snow (unlike some nordic race pole models).
- Comes with typical nordic race pole straps that are extremely supportive yet not fast for transitions, although I can substitute in a basic loop-style strap that is typical of skimo race poles.
- I can also add a rubber grip zone (just by spraying on some Plasti Dip) for choking up on poles during steep bootpacks.
- Selling because I bought them for our daughter in anticipation of continuing her nordic racing, but now she's gone into ski patrol instead.
$250 Atomic Backland Carbon boots sz 28.0/28.5
- Brand new, never used (ordered wrong size and couldn't return).
- Same generation as in this listing.
- Contact Chris.

- Homemade bungee and bottle caps, free, new.
$4 climbing skin storage bags, all new
- White w/ black Dynafit logo, 21x30cm, drawstring closure.
- Black w/ white Kohla logo, 23x33cm, drawstring closure.
- Black w/ white Hagan logo, 25x34cm, velcro closure with carry loops, and micro fiber drawing cloth integrated into the inside of the bag for wiping down ski bases.
$29 Suunto barometric altimeter watch (but no compass function)
- Stopped using when I started using a Garmin fenix 5x in 2017.
- S-Lander, extra-classy metal housing in perfect condition, although leather strap is kind of rough yet still functional.
