Returning for a third season, our sponsor La Sportiva, in addition to donating individual products to be used as prizes for each race, is donating two ski boot gift certificates as Series-long prizes.
To encourage participation, the winner -- perhaps to be dubbed the Titaniumman and Titaniumwoman? (try your best to file suit over that, Dalian Wanda Group!) -- will be decided by the highest number of Series-long race completions in the full competitive course, with any tie broken cumulative results.
Just like last time around, La Sportiva is generously donating two gift certificates, but this time the first gift certificate expires on December 19 (of 2022), so we will bifurcate the season standings:
- The first certificate will be awarded to the top finisher across the three December races (i.e., Stratton Vertical, Stratton Relay, Berkshire East Sprint), going by lowest total of the three place finishes. (Scoring by men and women will be separate in each race as always, yet then will be combined in the cumulative standings. Must finish all three races to be eligible.)
- The second certificate will be awarded to top finisher across the four races in January, February , and March. (Same scoring system and eligibility as the first gift certificate).
Certificate must by used by the winner or an immediately family/household member, i.e., no public resale. And will not awarded to any prior winner of this award.
(Although sorry, no Stratos carbon fiber race boots, but I might allow each winner to get within six feet -- whoops, vestigial pandemic-era joke there, but can't bring myself to remove it from prior years -- of my Stratos V.)
