Registration:

• $55 on-line through noon on the Friday before the race at [link pending].
• Includes annual Thunderbolt Ski Runners ("TSR") membership, i.e., $30 entry fee plus $25 annual membership fee.
• Only $30 if you are already a TSR member.
• On-site morning-of-race registration available for an additional $15.

This backcountry ski race is entirely self-supported, with no aid stations anywhere on the course, although ski patrollers will be stationed at critical locations.

• Competitive Full Course is ~5,500' vertical comprising two circuits of:  full skintrack to the summit, partial descent, followed by short bootpack, then the remaining descent.
• 2015 winning time = 2:04:52 by Jerimy Arnold, but w/o the add'l bootpack.
• Noncompetitive Shortened Course = single summit lap (no bootpack).

As shown below, from West Road, turn onto Gould Road.
Just before the winter closure of Thiel Road, turn left to continue along Gould Road, alongside which you can park.
The race HQ is at the map's starred gazebo location, which is visible from the road.
